Our students at New Salem are continuing to work hard and doing a terrific job demonstrating many of the Project Team traits on a regular basis! Students are being recognized for their efforts, and we are quickly approaching our goal of 7,500 tokens. To reward them, we will be having our first school-wide Project Team Celebration on Friday, October 31st , with an afternoon fall-themed BINGO! To make this event memorable, we need your help! We are seeking prize donations to award our BINGO winners, helping to support this activity. Specifically, we are looking for items that can be purchased at a cost of $5.00 – $10.00 at some local retail shops (e.g., Five Below, Family Dollar, Dollar General, Walmart, Target, etc.). Some examples include plushies, Squishmallows, soccer balls, dodgeballs, basketballs, board games, art supplies, etc. If you are interested in helping to support our Project Team celebration, please send your donation to your child’s classroom teacher by Friday, October 24th. Thank you for your consideration and help!

Community Forum - You're Invited! Join us for a  Community Forum on Tuesday, November 5th, from 6 PM to 7 PM in LGI Room #242 at Spring Grove Area Middle School  (enter through Door #15 at the back of the school). Dr. Albert, our superintendent search consultant, will explain the search process and answer attendees' questions. This is your chance to share your thoughts on the qualities, experiences, and priorities you hope to see in our next superintendent. Your input will directly help the Board understand the needs and values of our community as they guide the selection process. If you are unable to attend the forum, we highly encourage you to complete the community survey , where you can also share your thoughts and priorities for the next superintendent.
