Keller ISD is encouraging students, staff, and families across the District to wear green on Friday, May 8, to celebrate the Keller ISD Education Foundation and its continued support of our schools. The Foundation has made a significant impact through its education grants and the newly established One Fund, which has helped provide vital classroom supplies amid ongoing budget challenges. These contributions have played a key role in strengthening learning across all Keller ISD campuses. All Keller ISD campuses (grades PreK-12) will release early Thursday, May 21, the final day of the 2025-26 school year. Visit www.KellerISD.net/Calendar/EarlyRelease for the latest campus early release times.  Friday, May 22, is a Teacher Prep Day, and no classes will be held that day, though District administrative offices will remain open. Keller ISD campuses and administrative offices will be closed Thursday, June 18, in observance of Juneteenth National Independence Day.  Juneteenth is a federal holiday commemorating the ending of slavery in the United States, and is recognized each June 19. Deriving its name from the combination of the words "June" and "nineteenth," it is celebrated on the anniversary of the June 19, 1865, order proclaiming freedom for slaves in Texas. It was designated as a federal holiday in 2021, thanks to the efforts of many, including Fort Worth's own Opal Lee.
