There will be ONE assembly for all 2nd-5th-grade students who are receiving awards. Parents of students who are receiving awards should receive an invitation from the classroom teacher at least 5 days prior to the assembly to allow the parents time to make arrangements to attend. Pre-1st Grade students will not have formal assemblies. However, students in PreK-1st Grade should receive Award Certificates in their take-home folder the day of the upper grades assembly. Assembly Dates: (8:15 AM - 9:05 AMâŚ.Prompt Start!!) Wednesday, November 5, 2025 Wednesday, January 28, 2026 Wednesday, April 8, 2026 Wednesday, May 27, 2026 - this is 2nd - 4th ONLY!! Thursday, May 28, 2026 5th-Grade Awards/Promotion Ceremony (10 AM - 11:30 AM) 2nd - 5th Grade Awards: Principalâs A Honor Roll: For earning all Aâs in all content area courses (2nd - 5th grade). A-B Honor Roll: For earning Aâs and/or Bâs in all content area courses (2nd - 5th grade). Reading Award: Reaching the grade-level reading goal for the quarter (2nd - 5th grade). 2nd - 5th Grade = 10 books per quarter Perfect Attendance: NO tardies, NO early dismissals AND NO absences for the first quarter (2nd - 5th). Outstanding Attendance: No more than one excused tardy, one early dismissal or one absence for the quarter (2nd - 5th). Character Award: Demonstrating one of the HERO characteristics consistently throughout the quarter (2nd - 5th). Each class will select ONE student to represent ONE characteristic for the quarter. HERO characteristics are: H = being Hardworking in his/her academics each day. E = being Enthusiastic in his/her learning each day. R = being Responsible in his/her learning each day. O = being ONE in his/her actions by demonstrating inclusiveness, collaboration, and cooperation. * 2nd, 3rd and 4th Quarter we add the B.U.G. Award (Bringing Up Grade(s)): earned when    at least one grade is raised at least one letter grade without letting any other grades drop). * The 4th-Quarter will include ALL of the above mentioned awards PLUS and End of    Year/cumulative award for each of the above (ex: ALL YEAR Principals Honor Roll, ALL     YEAR Perfect Attendance, etc.), as well as recognition for receiving passing scores on    each SOL assessment.
