Group ToursWe welcome group tours of all ages to experience the Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center. Your group will enjoy a self-guided tour of our expansive exhibit space and a trip to a local dairy farm. During your time at the center, your group will gain a deeper understanding of Wisconsin agriculture, food processing, and sustainable farming. Varied dining options are available. Our immersive experience offers students the chance to visualize, interact with, read about, and investigate the food, fuel, and fiber produced in our state. From start to finish, a field trip to Farm Wisconsin will encourage students to explore the wonders of Wisconsin agriculture as they consider how this critical industry impacts each of their daily lives. Please note, advanced registration is required. Reservations must be made at least TWO WEEKs in advance. Final payment and head count are required at least one week prior to the scheduled visit.   Master the art of sourdough bread baking in this hands-on workshop. Designed for all experience levels, this class walks you through the steps and techniques of making sourdough from start to finish. Purchase TicketsAmanda Strojinc, owner of Hopefully Homesteading, LLC, will lead the workshop and guide you through each step of the process—mixing, bulk fermentation, shaping, baking, and troubleshooting along the way. All questions are welcome! Enjoy a complimentary glass of wine and hear from the team at Heartland Craft Grains about their locally grown and milled flour, used to make your sourdough loaf. You will also enjoy a delicious bowl of homemade soup, warm, fresh bread and appetizers during the workshop.   The workshop will also utilize high-quality products from Manitowoc’s own All American 1930 cookware assortment. Specifically, All American 1930 Dutch Ovens will be used, and one lucky participant will have the chance to take home a Dutch Oven through a raffle.
