No walk ons.  Seating is limited.

The Oconomowoc Summer Farmers’ Market has been a Saturday community tradition for over 40 years!  It is managed by the Oconomowoc Area Chamber of Commerce and runs weekly from the first Saturday in May to the last Saturday in October, except for the last weekend in July – in which a special Friday Night Farmers’ Market is held. Market-goers can find a variety of goods including seasonal produce, spices, herbs, soups, handmade arts and crafts, baked goods, plants, honey, cheeses, jams, canned goods, maple syrup, breads, and farm fresh eggs and meats.   Each week, visitors can find familiar favorites as well as exciting new additions. This one day a year self-guided garden walk is the oldest in the country, and features some of the most beautiful and unique private gardens in Chicago. The North Dearborn Association's 65th Dearborn Garden Walk has over 15 private gardens in the heart of Chicago's Near North and Gold Coast neighborhoods. These gracious garden owners open their gates for one day only to reveal the unique art of urban gardening. The event also includes a hugely popular guided architecture tour of North Dearborn Street that features architecture, history and local folklore. An additional bonus as you stroll to each private garden are the elegant and stunning front gardens to view along your route.

Decision Making, which is different from Problem-Solving, is the process of making a choice using one’s own judgment based on the data available. The art of good-decision making is particularly important for leaders and managers, although everyone can benefit from this skill. Being able to systematically work through various options, from root cause understanding to potential opportunity analysis, through anticipating the organizational reaction, is critical not only to making the decision itself, but ensuring that critical thinking is employed, and organizational acceptance creates an effective long-term solution. Learn about the requirements of good decision-making. Identify four basic decision-making styles. Discuss structured decision-making processes, and how to overcome barriers to effective decision-making.
