Join the Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce and our Morning Mixer sponsor First Seacoast Bank for our May Morning Mixer, hosted by Our Place.    This fast-paced, structured, speed networking program starts promptly at 8am, ensuring participants make it through all stations before the end of the hour. Participants arriving after 8am will be assigned a station if there is a station available; any participants unassigned to a station are welcome to stay until the end of the program for general networking.   Each station will have two minutes to share information. After the two minutes are up, one participant will move to the next station and the timer will begin again. The average participant makes 10-15 new contacts in the hour-long session. Bring 40+ business cards to share while networking.

Tickets are $50 each. The drawing will be held in person on Thursday, May 7 at 8 p.m. at Revo Casino and Social House in Dover. (You do not have to be present to win.) The Annual Raffle & Auction is the Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce's largest fundraiser of the year. Proceeds from this fundraiser help support the Chamber's large-scale community events such as Cochecho Arts Festival, Apple Harvest Day, and Festival of Trees. The dreambody is that part of our Self that inherently knows how to nurture connection to wholeness through nonverbal body experience–sensation, movement, impulse, vision, and intuition. In this embodied art process group, we will enter creative and reflective experience with art as gesture and witness, blended with somato-shamanic energy work as a practical way to access your dreambody for integration, clarity, and ground. We follow the Self as process, and in community, allowing the body’s natural intelligence to emerge through deep listening, sensing, intention, attention, and expression. Some possibilities that may be revealed are deeper awareness around unresolved or chronic tensions in your body, ways to expand your capacity to ground in challenge and opportunity, and understanding and strengthening relationship to various supports, within and with Other, Community, Nature, Spirit. Outcomes can feel enlivening, catalytic, relieving, or empowering. No previous movement, art, or meditation experience is required! Eric Carle’s Very Hungry Caterpillar has an insatiable appetite! But this adorable caterpillar has inspired generations of kids to love reading, and the museum is excited to welcome him through our Books Alive program. Books Alive seeks to make reading a regular family experience. Museum educators will be reading Carle’s bright and beautiful books, often emphasizing animals and the natural world, at story times followed by a meet and greet with the friendly costumed Hungry Caterpillar from 10–10:30am during the morning play sessions (9am–noon) and from 2–2:30pm during the afternoon play sessions (1–4pm). There will also be a variety of spring and Hungry Caterpillar-inspired literacy, math, and creative activities for all guests. Free with museum admission.
